March Favorites spring makeup
March was a hard month for me to pick out my favorite products because I really liked everything that I purchased and didn’t have many complaints about anything I picked up. March and April is the perfect time to start transistioning into more spring oriented makeup trends, so I took into account the changing weather when I was picking things out. I find myself getting stuck doing my makeup the same way everyday, but I like using light bronzers and bright blushes when it starts to get warmer outside.

I have heard so many people rave about Physcian’s Formula Butter Bronzer and now I know why. First of all, it is drugstore priced which is great. Second the quality is awesome. The bronzer is very light, so it is prefect for spring and doesn’t look unnatural or too much. It is absolutely a warmer bronzer, but the shade is light enough that it can be pulled off by most fair to light-medium skin tones. My compliant about this product is that I wish it had darker options as this one is very light. This comes with a small brush that is designed to fit into the bottom of the compact. I never use the complementary brushes, but it is included if you do like them. Butter Bronzer is non-streaky and really glides on just as the name suggests. The fragrance of this product is a beachy coconut smell and while the scent is pretty strong, it is not overwhelming. Find it here

Milani is another drugstore brand that has a ton of high-quality products. I don’t use a whole lot of different types of blush because I tend to gravitate towards my favorites, but when I saw how pretty the actual product was from Milani, I had to give it a shot. I have the shade Tea Rose and the color is pretty sheer when first applied. This is really how I personally prefer a blush. You can build it up without it going wrong but the color is pretty universally flattering. There are a 4 total colors in this line. It is the perfect spring time update to your makeup collection without spending too much. Find it here.

Kat Von D recently launched a setting spray that has made all of my other setting sprays step aside. I cannot say enough good things about the Lock-it setting spray. First off, this is the best mister I have ever used and it doesn’t get clogged or spray too heavy on your face. I use this after my foundation, before contour and powder. I will let it dry and go back in with the rest of my steps. I will spray it again when the rest of face is done and the powdery finish will be gone. My skin gets very oily throughout the day, and this keeps all of my makeup in place without drying my face. The spray itself has a fresh cucumber scent that is pretty refreshing. find it here.

I really hate cleaning my makeup brushes, and it is no secret. I have been known to buy new brushes to avoid cleaning the 150 (actual number) brushes that I have. I bought this product on a whim when I was checking out at Sephora and I am full-blown obsessed with how convenient this stuff is. This product is a “dry clean” brush cleaner. The idea of this seems a little too good to be true, and it will not replace cleaning your brushes once a week. What works about this is that you can spray it onto your brush and swirl it around on a towel and you can switch colors without having to wait for your brush to dry. It has a really nice sweet almond scent and there is a good amount of product. I feel like this is best suited for someone who doesn’t have a huge selection of brushes to run through and doesn’t have the time to clean them constantly. Find it here.

For the past couple weeks I have been really enjoying using really sparkley, duo chrome eye colors. I discovered Inglot Pigments and they are absolutely stunning. I picked up 3 different ones to try them out and I can’t wait to try more. I think my favorite thing about these is the color payoff.  A little goes a long way, so I have been using them with a glitter glue since they are loose pigments, you can get some fallout. It is also important to do your eye makeup first in case these fall onto your face. It does seem like a lot of extra work, but they are so worth it. Every time I have worn these I have gotten compliments on my eye makeup. find it here.
