Tarteist Pro Glow Review

Tarteist Pro Glow Review

I am afraid of highlighting. I can admit it. I always love the way a pretty glow looks on everyone else, but I am always so afraid of “highlighting” the texture on my face and making myself look oily. I have been purchasing a lot of highlighters and trying to figure out a good way to highlight my face without emphasizing any imperfections. I feel like a lot of makeup is geared towards getting a quality picture for Instagram and sometimes being so heavy doesn’t translate well to real life. I decided to do a Tarteist Pro Glow review because this palette seems like it would be good for everyone, and could easily be used as a beginner palette when you’re not really sure what looks best on your skin.

NYX Duochromatic Illuminating Powder Review and Comparison To Kat Von D Alchemist Palette

Duochrome Highlighters have been super trendy recently and I have been obsessed with them since I started seeing people model them on Instagram. They can be subtle or built up to really look bright and shiny in pictures. I found these Duochromatic highlighters by NYX Cosmetics at Target and I was very excited to give them a try. They cost $8 for 6 grams of product. Find Them Here.

February Favorites from Juvia’s Place, Buxom, Wet N Wild and NYX Cosmetics

February Favorites Nyx Cosmetics Juvias Place elf cosmeticsNow that February is over, I am going to do a compilation of my favorite products that I have tried this month. I will start off by saying I did not have a lot high-end hits for this time around, and I was disappointed by a lot of the products that I purchased. I have to admit I was more satisfied with NYX, Wet N Wild, and elf this month.

My Lip Filler Experience With Before and After Photos

After my first procdeure. This was taken 3 days later, most of the swelling had gone away.

I have had my lips “filled” on about 5 separate occasions. I would like to preface this entire post with just a couple quick notes. I did enough research before doing this procedure the first time to make myself feel totally comfortable. I would never recommend this to anyone but I absolutely think that it’s worth looking into if it’s something you are interested in doing. I included a video of one of my procedures at the end of this post if you’re interested. I could see it possibly grossing someone out so I left it for the end.

Makeup Tutorial: Color Correcting Under-eye Darkness

Color correcting under eye darkness is easiest with a color correcting palette. You will need something with a yellow, orange, and peach color to correct the blueish-purple tones. It can be weird getting used to putting weird colors on your face, but this does work. By the time everything is blended out, most of your problems will be easily camouflaged. I personally use the same two palettes for everything related to color correcting and they work out perfectly for my needs. For this post I used the Stila All in One Correct and Perfect Palette, but I also like the NYX palette if you’re looking for a drugstore alternative. Find it here.

Wet N Wild Liquid Catsuit Review

Wet N Wild Liquid Catsuit ReviewUnder normal circumstances I would have never bought these. I can safely admit that I would have turned my nose up at the thought of using A) mainly anything from Wet N Wild and B) a liquid lipstick that cost $5. I have about 500 dollars worth the liquid lipstick sitting on my vanity, and I use them rarely. I can’t handle the dry, cracked feeling and I can’t seem to make them last as long as they claim. But for the sake of review I decided to test these pups out due to the outrageous claims via Youtube. I felt like there is no way that these “Liquid Catsuit” lipsticks could be all they were being cracked up to be, but I figured I had nothing to lose in giving them a try.

Makeup Tutorial: How to Cover a Tattoo

How To Cover a Tattoo with MakeupCovering a tattoo is mainly about color-correcting so being aware of which colors cancel out other colors is really helpful. Covering the tattoos that are on my legs does require a lot of product, but it is because they are pretty large and they are dark. I am using them for this tutorial because I have the same tattoo on each shin, so they ended up being perfect for a before and after.
